2. Review vocabulary, then read passage and complete quiz.

Scienctific Method The process of using science to answer questions about the world.

Hypothesis A guess about what will happen during an experiment.

Data Information we gather during an experiment

Analyze This is the process of looking at data from an experiment to find meaning.

Conclusion This is the takeaway. It’s what you learned from the experiment.

3. Begin a scientific experiment.

Remove the cap from a bottle of soda. Add 2% milk to the very top and replace the lid. What do you think will happen? Write it on your lab report.
