Erosion Moving pieces of the Earth’s surface from one place to another. This is usually caused by moving water or wind.
Coast The area where land meets the ocean
River A flowing stream of fresh water (no salt). Water in a river flows from one place to another.
Soil A natural mixture of clay, sand and other materials found on the ground. Plants grow in soil.
