We will explore how the digestive system breaks down food to give us chemical energy.

Photosynthesis This is the process of plants using sunshine to make sugar from carbon dioxide and water.

Healthy Food These have lots of nutrients to give us energy and grow and repair our bodies.

Unhealthy Food These are things like candy, chips, and soda, which are bad in large quantities.

Digestive System This is made up of the stomach, intestines, and other components. It allows us to break down food and absorb its nutrients.
