- Quarter means one fourth (1/4) or 1 out of 4.
- A quarter is 25 cents.
- There are 4 quarters in a dollar.
- 25 cents + 25 cents + 25 cents + 25 cents = 100 cents or $1.

Remember, a quarter is 1/4.
