Today we’ll work on recognizing grouped quantities on dice and dominoes.
See how quickly you can identify the total number shown in each slide. Try not to count unless you have to.

We will tape the numbers 1 through 10 to each side of a long table.
In the classroom, students will be broken into two teams.
One student from each team will face off against each other, each on either side of the table
On the overhead, a ten-frame slideshow will be played.
Students will use a flyswatter to “swat” (or place a ring or other object on) the correct number on their side of the table.
The first correct hit will result in a point for their team.
