We will explore how wildlife in the Arctic adapt to their winter environment.
I will paint a polar bear.
1. Learn about the Arctic and Antarctic regions.
- The Arctic region surrounds the North Pole. It has animals like polar bears, arctic hares, and caribou.
- The Antarctic region surrounds the South Pole. It has animals like penguins and seals.
2. Paint a polar bear!
- Draw or glue ears, eyes and a nose to a piece of construction paper.
- Use a plastic fork to press white stripes onto your constuction paper to make fur.
