7.2 Scientific investigation and reasoning. The student uses scientific practices during laboratory and field investigations. The student is expected to:

3. Check out some other simple machines.
- A long time ago, a cartoonist named Rube Goldberg though it would be funny to design super complicated machines to do simple things.
- His designs became so famous that anything similar is now called a Rube Goldberg machine.
