Renewable Energy Sources of energy that can be more easily replenished. Things like wind, sunlight, waves, and Earth’s heat (geothermal energy).
Nonrenewable Energy Sources of energy that can’t be easily replenished like coal, oil and natural gas
Natural Gas A gas that can be burned for energy. It is often used to heat our homes and stoves
Ethanol A liquid renewable fuel made from plants like corn
Check this out! Taking public transportation (the bus) saves lots of fossil fuels. This shows you how many people can be carried by one bus and how many cars it would take for that many people.
Make and test a waterwheel using household objects.

- Instead of playing cards, you can use plastic spoons (hot glued or super glued to your paper or foam plates), or even cut apart egg cartons.
