Grains These are the harvested seed of grass-like plants such as wheat, oats, rice, and corn. They represent an extremely important food group that feeds humans and animals all over the world.

Fruits These are the parts of many plants and trees that contain the sees. They are ususally sweet.

Vegetables These are plants and parts of plants and can include leaves, stems and roots.

Process Foods These foods are also called “junk food.” They are assembled and packaged in factories. They are popular, but unhealthy.
