We will explore the safe and appropriate use of laboratory equipment and resources.

2. Review vocabulary and complete quiz.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Clothing or equipment worn to protect against hazards (dangers)
Lab Coat a loose fitting coat often worn by workers in a laboratory
Mask a covering worn over the face to protect the nose and mouth from pollutants or infections
Safety glasses (similar to goggles): Worn over the eyes to protect them from chemicals or other hazards (dangers)
Gloves coverings for hands to protect them from chemicals, high or low temperatures or other hazards
