Natural disaster Natural events that can cause great damage
Volcano An opening on Earth’s surface that allows molten rock, called magma, to escape from inside the earth
Magma Molten rock inside the earth. It is called lava when it comes out (pictured here).
Tsunami A huge ocean wave caused by a disturbance in the ocean floor, usually caused by an underwater earthquake
