Magnetism is a physical property of some metal objects that cause them to be attracted to magnets.

Texture is the way the surface of something feels (rough, smooth, fuzzy, sharp, slimy etc.)



Stretchiness A push is when you use force to move an object awayfrom you.

Absorbency is how well something can soak up a liquid like water.
“Absorbent and yellow and porous is he!”

3. Test different objects for magnetism.

4. Make a magnet track.
- Click the thumbnails below to download arrow tracks.
- Layer the paper over card stock, if preferred.
- Print car tokens. Cut out and tape a paperclip to the bottom of each.
- Use a magnet (or a stack of round craft magnets), positioned under the track, to guide your car to the end of the arrow.
- Race!

Speaking of magnetism…
I’m very pleased with my new refrigerator magnet.
So far I’ve got eight refrigerators.
