Rainforest This is a type of forest that gets the most rain of any place on Earth. Warm rainforests are often called jungles. There are also cool rainforests.
Equator This is the imaginary line that runs around the middle of the Earth.
Tropics This is the area of the Earth near the equator that gets the most sun and heat.
Conifers These trees have needle leaves, which save energy during cold winters. They also have cones, like pinecones. They are often found in cool rainforests.
