Light reflection is when light bounces off the surface of an object.

Reflection surface is the surface from which the light bounces off.

Lens is a curved piece of glass or plastic that concentrates light rays. They are used in magnifying glasses and telescopes.

Vision is the ability to see. This is thanks to our eyes, which detect light that is reflected into them.

Extension Activity:
Create a model of light on 3 kinds of surfaces.
- Use clear plastic, wax paper and construction paper to demonstrate transparency, translucence and opacity.
- Place each surface over a bright line. Yarn was used in the picture.
- Compare and contrast how we see the line in each example.
